Trent Central Student Association Office Break and Enter

Monday, October 6, 2014

Sometime between 9:20 p.m. on Saturday October 4, 2014 and 8 p.m. on Sunday October 5, 2014 unknown person(s) broke into the Trent Central Student Association office located on Trent University’s Symons Campus. Several items were stolen including iMacs and cash. During the theft two safes were also damaged. Total value of the theft is estimated at $9,900. Anyone who knows anything or may have seen something suspicious is asked to contact the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service at 705-876-1122 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS or www.stopcrimehere.ca.  

The office will be closed Monday, October 6 during the morning until 2 p.m., at which point we will once again open. While some services will be interrupted the following will still be available:

  • Consignment book sales

  • GO transit sales

  • ISIC distribution 

  • Direct2u pickup

 

The following services will be experiencing delays:

  • Clubs and groups registration

  • Clubs and groups funding requests

  • Student funding requests

  • Vendor table bookings

 

Staff and Director office hours will be impacted for the week of October 6-10. Students are advised to contact the individuals via email prior to coming to the office.
