Trent Student Benefits Opt-In/Opt-Out Period Begins

An important message regarding your Trent Student Benefits Plan:

If you are a Trent University student in 2017-2018 please make note of the following important information about your Trent Student Benefits Plan:

Those registered in 1.5 or more credits have automatically been charged for the Benefits Plan. You may start using your plan immediately—there is no blackout period! Full details on what is covered and how to submit claims can be found at studentvip.ca/trent. Benefit brochures are available in the TCSA office (Champlain College Suite S110). You may also register your dependants (children and spouse) on the plan by either visiting our office or our website.

Those registered in less than 1.5 credits have the option to opt into the plan by September 30, 2017. This must be completed in the TCSA office.

If you have been charged the cost of the plan, but already hold alternative coverage, you may opt out of our Benefits Plan by visiting studentvip.ca/trent and providing your proof of coverage and direct deposit information by September 30, 2017. Refunds will be available by direct deposit or email transfer.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to visit studentvip.ca/trent for live chat options or visit the TCSA office.
