Transportation Bursary

The TCSA is pleased to offer a Transportation Assistance Bursary,
available to any registered Trent University student who meet the following criteria:

  1. Demonstration of financial need; students must be in receipt of OSAP, Canada part time student loans, Native Band funding, or the government financial aid program of their home province. Students must be in receipt of funding for the current term.
  2. Live off Peterborough city transit routes or are unable to ride the bus for medical reasons.
  3. Have been charged, through their student account, the TCSA Transit Pass fee.

Students may apply in the month in which they start at Trent;
   September start: September 1-30
   January start: January 1-30

Please upload proof of your home address while studying at Trent; lease agreement, utilities or internet/phone bill.   OR  Please upload a letter from your attending physician confirming your inability to utilize Peterborough Transit due to medical reasons.

The TCSA has set aside $9000 to be disseminated evenly among those eligible students who have applied for and been awarded the bursary, to a maximum amount of $392.55 each.  Bursary awards will be applied directly to student accounts before the end of fall term.

Students may be awarded one bursary each academic year. Bursaries will be awarded by the end of the term in which you have applied.
