DAILY VENDOR TABLE RENTALS

Audience: All Trent students, staff and faculty

Deadline: Two weeks prior to booking

Spots Available: 3 spaces

Availability: Weekdays during academic year

Businesses have the opporunity to book one of our three spaces in two high-traffic areas throughout the year while classes are in session to display their products and connect with students. The spaces are located in Bata Library on the West bank and in Otonabee College on the East bank of campus. These areas are utilized by students daily and in great numbers making them ideal locations to occupy.

Spaces Available:

• Student Centre Alumni Atrium 

• Otonabee College Foyer - 13.5 x 11 foot space located between the main lecture hall and the cafeteria

• Wenjack Theatre Lobby - 8 foot table located next to the entrance of our main lecture hall
 

Cost:

Student Group/Levy Group/University Department: $0

Non-profit: $50 per space

Recruitment Activities: $75 per space

Small Business Fee: $100 per space

Corporate Fee: $250 per space
 

Insurance: 

When booking a table through the Trent Central Student Association, insurance is available for those vendors that:

a) do not currently hold liability insurance;

b) would like to be insured while tabling at Trent; or

c)  are considered high risk vendors (i.e. selling or displaying items that could cause personal harm).

Cost of the insurance is $24/day. If you would like to purchase liability insurance for your vendor day, please complete the User Group Certificate Request Form from Marsh located at the bottom of this page.


To book a space:

Vendor spaces are available Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. during the academic year. Bookings are limited to one location per day, five bookings per month, and maximum three business days in a row. Alternative booking arrangements are at the discretion of TCSA staff.

If you are contacting us via e-mail please indicate your preferred location. Once an available date is booked you will be sent a booking agreement and invoice. Your booking is confirmed when we receive a signed copy of your agreement. Please ensure your booking is done 14 days in advance of you booking date.

Furniture:

Each location is outfitted with a table.


Internet:

Internet access is available to all guests. Connect through the WiFi account "Trent-Guest". This account does not allow anything to be downloaded. If you require internet access that will allow you to download, a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) notice must be provided to the Advertising & Sponsorship Coordinator in order to make those accommodations.

When you arrive at Trent please check in at our office to pay your vendor's fee and pick up your contract. You must have your contract available to show security should they wish to confirm your consented presence on campus. Our office is located in Champlain College Suite S110, just past the bookstore. Payments can be made by cash, Visa, Mastercard, debit or cheques made out to the Trent Central Student Association.

Pay and display parking is available for $6 a day from the parking meters. A map of Trent parking can be found at: . Lot I is closest to Bata Library and Lot R is closest to the Wenjack foyer.

When are Trent's exams and holidays?
All University dates are listed at www.trentu.ca/calendar but we will not book your visit during exams or holidays.

How do I book a visit during Introductory Seminar week?
We do not begin booking vendors until the first week of classes after Introductory Seminar Week.

I am an employer or employment recruiter, how can I do more outreach to Trent Students?
Contact the Trent Career Centre at the www.trentu.ca/careers for more employer services.

What payment methods do you accept?
We can accept cash, cheques (payable to the Trent Central Student Association), debit, Mastercard and Visa (credit card payents are only available in our office).
