Throughout the Trent University school year, the Trent Central Student Association produces a variety of publications, products, and events that are accessed by the student population. Local businesses have the opportunity to reach the Trent student population through sponsorship and advertising. If you are interested in partnering with us or reaching out to students, please contact us at community@trentcentral.ca.

TENT BOOKINGS

The TCSA has 16 white canopy tents available for loan through the booking form below. These tents are 8 feet by 12 feet with the TCSA logo on the white canopy. Our tents can be used for outdoor events, gatherings, tabling, etc. Click below for more information and to book.

Daily Vendor Table Bookings

Audience: All Trent students, staff, and faculty

Deadline: Two weeks prior to booking

Availability: Weekdays during academic year

Businesses have the opportunity to book one of tables in various high-traffic areas on campus throughout the year while classes are in session to display products and connect with students. The spaces are located in the Student Centre on the West Bank and in Otonabee College on the East Bank of campus.

  • Student Centre Alumni Atrium (2 spaces)

  • Otonabee College Foyer - 13.5 x 11 foot space located between the main lecture hall and the cafeteria

  • Wenjack Theatre Lobby - 8 foot table located next to the entrance of our main lecture hall

Please contact TCSA Community Coordinator, Aditi Sharma, at community@trentcentral.ca to get a quote on renting your preferred space and to check availability.

Insurance: 

When booking a table through the Trent Central Student Association, insurance is available for those vendors that:

a) do not currently hold liability insurance;

b) would like to be insured while tabling at Trent; or

c)  are considered high risk vendors (i.e. selling or displaying items that could cause personal harm).

Cost of the insurance is $24/day. If you would like to purchase liability insurance for your vendor day, please contact operations@trentcentral.ca.

To book a space:

Vendor spaces are available Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm during the academic year. Bookings are limited to one location per day, five bookings per month, and maximum three business days in a row. Alternative booking arrangements are at the discretion of TCSA staff.

If you are contacting us via e-mail please indicate your preferred location. Once an available date is booked you will be sent a booking agreement and invoice. Your booking is confirmed when we receive a signed copy of your agreement. Please ensure your booking is done 14 days in advance of you booking date.

Furniture:

Each location is outfitted with a table.

Internet:

Internet access is available to all guests. Connect through the WiFi account "Trent-Guest". This account does not allow anything to be downloaded. If you require internet access that will allow you to download, a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) notice must be provided to the Community Coordinator in order to make those accommodations.

When you arrive:

When you arrive at Trent please check in at the TCSA office second floor of the Student Centre) to pay your vendor fee and pick up your contract. You must have your contract available to show security should they wish to confirm your consented presence on campus. Payments can be made by e-transfer, Visa, MasterCard, Interac, or cheque (made payable to Trent Central Student Association).

Pay and display parking is available for $9/day from the parking meters. A map of Trent parking can be found at: trentu.ca/parking. Lot I is closest to the Student Centre and Lot R is closest to the Wenjack foyer.

All University dates are listed at www.trentu.ca/calendar but we will not book your visit during exams or holidays.

What payment methods do you accept?
