At the Trent English Department, we love a harrowing tale and we love a good party, and so we’d like to invite you all to join us for the return of a time-honoured Trent English Department tradition, Things of Darkness 3: The Revenge of the Shakespearean Pub Night.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 17 @ 8pm at the Cork and Bean (382 George St), and will feature an opportunity to socialize, have a drink, get away from your assignments for a few hours, and maybe even meet a fretful porpentine or two.

But more importantly, it will also boast a series of short performances by Trent English students and faculty, centred on all things ghostly, gloomy, weird, and witchy, drawn from the darkest corners of Shakespeare’s catacomb—er, I mean catalogue. It’s getting drinks with theatre nerds, in other words. You get the idea. All are welcome.
