The Society for Ecological Restoration at Trent is very excited to announce that we will be hosting another chainsaw safety course this month! BPF Safety and Consulting will be leading a 1-day course here at Trent University on Saturday, January 27th from 8am to 6pm in the Student Centre Event Space.

This event is open to Trent University and Fleming College Students. The course is hosted by SER-TU, and taught by BPF Safety and Consulting. This is a basic level course intended for the inexperienced and/or occasional chainsaw user. The course consists of a half day of in-class theory and a half day of outdoor practical training. The cost of the course, per student, is $199.45 (subsidized from $299.45 by SER-TU).

NOTE: CSA Approved Safety Footwear is mandatory for each participant. Steel toe version recommended.
