Learn about the various actions being done to restore the Trent-Severn waterway!

The Society of Ecological Restoration at Trent University presents their Ecological Speaker Series with Cass Stabler: Trent-Severn Waterway Restoration on Tuesday, February 25th at 4:00pm in ENW 115 (Gzowski College). This event is free and open to the community.

We will be talking about:

• Chickpea milk vetch at Nassau Guard Gates restoration area

• Establishing native vegetation on waterway dam slopes to reduce mowing, provide habitat, hold slopes in place

• Planting and see collection opportunities near Trent: Ptbo Earth Damns, Thompsons Bay, Liftlock

• Aquatic plant restoration in areas where we are managing invasive species
