ELECTRIC CITY HACKS

About

Trent University’s annual hackathon brings up to 350 students from across Canada to Peterborough for a 36 hour event, challenging participants to design, build, and demonstrate technological solutions. Electric City Hacks is a student run event that drives innovation and provides participants the opportunities to work together and create solutions to real world problems. In addition to gaining real world experience, participants have the opportunity to interface and collaborate with industry experts. Students of all backgrounds and majors are highly encouraged to attend – participants do not need any programming experience whatsoever!

Electric City Hacks is a member of Major League Hacking (MLH), a student hackathon league that sanctions, sponsors, and promotes student hackathons in the United States, Mexico, Canada, United Kingdom, and other European countries.
