Why Arts-Based Advocacy?

This form of advocacy serves as an accessible means to raise awareness of the circumstances of students who are impacted daily by over-enrolment and the university's insufficient resources. Viewers can interact with the stories and work presented at the exhibit. Facilitating meaningful dialogues to further understand the implications Administration's decisions have on students' lived experience at Trent. The Excalagala will instigate action alongside the Excaliburnt Out report, and serve as a starting point for conversations to address and enact lasting change.
