We're Looking for Artist Submissions for the new BIPOC Space in the Student Centre

The BIPOC Student Space Planning Committee (BSPC) was introduced as a special committee by the 2020/21 Racialized Student Commissioner Moriah Hillyer. The 2020/21 Board of Directors had voted on and approved the formation of this committee to lead the development of a BIPOC space on campus in the Trent Student Centre.

The committee is excited to announce that we are moving forward in the development of this space. Within this space, we want to highlight the artistic talent of BIPOC and Racialized Trent students, Trent alumni, and Nogojiwanong / Peterborough community members.

We encourage artists that identify as black, indigenous, people of colour, racialized, LGBTQIA2S+, disabled, bi-lingual, and trans or gender non-conforming to apply. Furthermore, we encourage applications from both domestic and international students.

This application is open from June, 10th 2021 and closes on July 1st, 2021. Click here for more information and to submit an application.
