The Seasoned Spoon is excited to invite you to our annual Fall Community Meal on Wednesday, October 13th at 6pm.

For this virtual event, we invite participants to join us for a screening of “The Garden”. This film showcases the formation of the Edward Binney's Community Gardens; a momentus partnership between United Way City of Kawartha Lakes and Crayola Canada that put 30,000 square feet into production and has led to 30,000 lbs of food being grown and shared with the larger community.

Staff of United Way CKL, Community Investment Coordinator Shantal Ingram and Projects and Communications Coordinator Emily Beall, will also be in attendance to share details on how the gardens have expanded and answer questions from attendees.
