On Wednesday, November 2nd, join the Kawartha World Issues Centre, the Centre for Women & Trans People, and the Community Race Relations Committee of Peterborough for an insightful conversation with outgoing city councillor Kemi Akapo on the growing racialized electorate and how we can enact power and resistance.

This virtual event will feature a candid conversation between Kemi and CWTP Coordinator Muna.

Kemi will reflect on her experiences as an international Trent student, her work in supporting newcomers, and how racialized community members can engage in municipal politics.
