Winter Tree ID with SER-TU

  • TCSA 1680 West Bank Drive, Trent Student Centre 2.15, Trent University Peterborough Canada (map)

Welcome back everyone! We hope you had a relaxing winter break!

Come join the Society for Ecological Restoration on January 23rd at 2pm for a chance to learn winter tree identification!

We will be hiking the deciduous tract of the Lady Eaton Drumlin, and using identification keys to ID species from common genera. This includes Acer, Fraxinus, Betula, Ostrya, Pinus, Populus, and others.

This event will be aimed towards individuals with minimal experience using an ID key, but all are welcome!

For more details, or accessibility questions, don’t hesitate to reach out on any of our platforms! We hope to see you there!

Meet us in the Lady Eaton parking lot by the entrance to the Drumlin. To ensure there is enough time to complete the session, we will be starting by 2:10pm at the latest. Late-comers are welcome to join, whoever they may miss out on the introduction.
