Join the Nursing Student Association on Tuesday, November 26th from 5pm to 8pm for an interactive cooking workshop designed to nourish both body and mind! The workshop will be held in the Seasoned Spoon and is $5 entry. All students are welcome!
As we transition into fall, there’s nothing more comforting than a hearty meal to warm up the season. Together, we’ll be making a simple, delicious soup that easy to prepare, perfect for busy schedules, and ideal for meal prepping.
But this workshop is more than just cooking! It’s also a chance to talk about the challenges many of us face as students and future healthcare professionals, especially when it comes to burnout. We’ll also discuss mindful eating, meal planning on a budget, balancing school and self-care, setting boundaries to avoid burnout, and how sharing meals can build community and improve well-being.
This event will create an open, supportive space for all students to connect, share experiences, and build a sense of community while learning how to prioritize self-care through food. Whether you’re a cooking novice or a kitchen pro, come for the food, stay for the conversation.
