TCSA & TACSU Present:

Carnival is a big deal! Every year, islands across the Caribbean celebrate these holidays in style with parades full of sound, colour, and dancing. Caribana is a festival of Caribbean culture and traditions held each summer in the city of Toronto that draws millions of visitors from across North America. Months of preparation go into Caribana, and this year on Saturday, August 3, the TCSA and the Trent African & Caribbean Student Union are taking you on a trip to see the closing Grande Parade, an opportunity to see the thriving community of Caribbean diaspora that exists in Canada. It's time to fete!

This event is free for Trent students to attend. However, there is a small entrance fee if you wish to enter Exhibition Place for other Caribana events. The Grande Parade is visible outside Exhibition Place and along Lakeshore Blvd. Click here to see the Caribana Toronto website and view all festival events.

Sign up in the TCSA office or by emailing info@trentcentral.ca.
