Join us on our fall Medicine Walk through the Drumlin with Matt Levac! Come de-stress and get in touch with the beautiful natural elements right on Trent’s campus.

Matt Levac is a Métis youth who is a botanical knowledge holder. He is from Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, and now resides in Nogojiwanong. For the last 5 years, Matt has been working with his mentors Joseph Pitawanakwat, Beedahbin Waawaashkesh, and Caleb Musgrave, learning all aspects of Anishinaabeg lifeways in regards to plants, trees, and their uses. Matt has helped organize and lead programs for Trent University, Fleming College, Humber College, Kawartha Land Trust, and APTN. He will be leading us on a walk through the Drumlin and showing us through the eyes of a botanical knowledge holder as the seasons change.
