Shooting Your Shot: How to Flirt Like a Pro and Deal with Rejection

  • TCSA 1680 West Bank Drive, Trent Student Centre 2.15, Trent University Peterborough Canada (map)

The TCSA is holding Sexual Violence Prevention week from January 17th-21st. We hope you will join us for our virtual events, hosted in partnership with some amazing organizations and guest speakers.

On Wednesday, January 19th from 4pm to 6pm, we will be joined by Alisha Fisher from the Kawartha Sexual Assault Centre for an interactive presentation and Q&A session. Click here to register.

Let’s be honest, the flirting struggle is real, and the pandemic is not helping with those anxieties! Not to mention, research has revealed that the human body knows within one second if someone is attractive or not, and 30 seconds if they want to sleep with them. No pressure, right?

Join Relationship Coach, Alisha Fisher, as she reveals her top strategies for breaking the ice, keeping your conversational self afloat, and how to abandon ship gracefully if the iceberg is approaching.

In this interactive presentation, you’ll learn:

  • How to feel more comfortable when meeting others

  • How to start and keep that conversation going

  • Cues to know if someone is open to keep chatting, and

  • Tips for becoming more confident and approachable
