Scholars at Risk is hosting a webinar with writer and human rights activist Jewher Ilham on Tuesday, September 21st at 6pm via Zoom.

Jewher Ilham is a writer and human rights activist. She is also the daughter of Ilham Tohti. Ilham Tohti is a Uyghur economist who is currently imprisoned for life in China. Tohti is known for his work on Uyghur-Han relations. Jewher Ilham will discuss her father's situation and work as well as discuss academic freedom in China.
