On Thursday, October 12th, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, Trent Central Student Association and Trent Health in Motion are hosting a Nutrition Workshop for any undergraduate students interested in how to plan and eat to help with your physical and mental health and wellness.
We will have a dietitian on hand to provide expert guidance. As an extra treat, the Seasoned Spoon is catering a dietary-friendly meal for those in attendance.
50 spots available. Held in the Student Centre Event Space. Free for Trent undergrad students.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1Describe at least 3 strategies to eat well on a budget;
Plan a week’s worth of meals following Canada’s Food Guide, featuring items they already have at home;
Write a grocery list based on planned meals; and
Name 3 sources of reliable information on healthy eating
