Transit News for September 2021

2021-2022 TCSA Transit Pass

Transit passes for the 2021-2022 academic year will be available digitally starting August 31, 2021. All undergraduate students registered in 1.5 credits or more will automatically be billed for a transit pass. Submit your photo for your transit pass on myTrent, and download and set up your digital transit pass by downloading the ID123 app on your phone’s App Store. Search “Trent University” as your institution and enter your name and student number to set up your digital transit pass. Have your pass ready to present to the driver as you board the bus.

Returning students will automatically receive an updated transit pass for the 2021-2022 academic year on the ID123 app, with no further action required.

If you are registered in fewer than 1.5 credits and wish to receive a transit pass, you are able to purchase either a four (4), eight (8), or twelve (12) month pass by visiting the Card Office located in Blackburn Hall. Also available for purchase are 10-ride transit passes and 30-day transit passes. These are available in both the Card Office and the TCSA Office. For more information about pricing and passes, visit the TCSA website.

The Link Rural Bus Service

We have exciting news! The TCSA, in partnership with Selwyn Township, have made it possible for Trent students to use their TCSA transit pass to ride on The Link rural bus service until August 31, 2022. This means that you can travel from Trent and Peterborough to the surrounding areas of Bridgenorth, Lakefield, Ennismore, and Curve Lake at no extra cost for the year!

Look for the bus stop signs with The Link name and logo and simply show the driver your transit pass when you board. Route maps, bus stop locations, and schedules for The Link can be found on the TCSA website: trentcentral.ca/transit.

Additionally, on our website you will be able to find a route map and a link to the schedules for all Peterborough Transit routes within the city effective September 5, 2021. Peterborough Transit's regular routes run every day and all buses on regular routes are fully accessible.

As of September 5, 2021, there will be six (6) routes that travel to and from Symons Campus:

Direct bus service to West Bank (Bata Loop):
